TSX/CFMRC Browser
The TSX/CFMRC Databases are delivered and updated from the cloud and require the TSX/CFMRC Browser v2.3 (the browser), or later, for installation and updates. The browser currently only runs under versions of the Windows operating system (Windows 7, or later, or Server 2008, or later). Windows 10 or Server 2016 (or later) are recommended.
Downloading Data and Software

Using the browser to update data and software requires internet access, a current subscription and valid credentials. Credentials are supplied when you subscribe.
In addition to managing data and software updates, the browser is designed to make finding and extracting data from the TSX/CFMRC Database easy. Using the browser to work with data you have already downloaded does not require a current subscription or credentials.
Browsing Summary Data

You may browse all of the securities listed on the TSX interactively. The relevant data on the display updates as you move through the list of available tickers. Daily data begins in January, 1975 and monthly data goes back as far as December, 1949 for some securities. You may quickly move to securities of interest by searching on ticker, name, CUSIP or nature of business.
Browsing TAQ Data

Similarly, you may browse intra-daily trades and quotes for any security listed on the TSX or TSXV starting with January 2, 2018.
Exporting Data

The browser includes a very flexible Save-to-File Wizard that will help you build very complex queries and download the results into standard, comma-separated files. These .csv files can be loaded directly by Excel and many other statistical packages (although the files may be too large – please check your software).
